Our beloved Michael Anthony Moss passed away August 31, 2023 at the age of 33 in Largo, Florida. Michael was born in Watertown, NY on November 28, 1989 to Leslie Moss and Kenneth Mallette Jr. He was raised by his mother Leslie and her husband Jerrell Davis, of whom Michael thought of as his father. His visions and personality were too big for his small hometown and in 2013 he moved to Fort Myers, FL to start a new life and begin a career as a lineman. He fell in love with the sun and ocean, spending his time fishing or swimming. He also enjoyed hunting, riding horses, and making people laugh with his wit and sarcasm. His career and life in sunny Florida brought him to meet many new people, thanks to his infectious smile, personality, and charisma. He later found himself in Colorado with his grandparents where he became a volunteer firefighter and volunteered at the local elementary school. Michael was a free spirit whose personality and charisma allowed him to make new friends no matter the circumstances. He could make you laugh, give you a pep talk, or anything you needed in that moment. He was always the life of the party. Michael was an incredible and dearly loved man whose impact will always be felt by his family and friends. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive and love will forever be engrained in the lives of everyone he knew. Fly with the angels Michael, you are home with Grandma now. Michael is survived by his mother Leslie Davis (Jerrell) of Bartlett, TN, his brother Joshua Conway (Caitlyn) of Bartlett, TN, his sister Ashley Conway (Allen) of Mississippi, his sister Olivia Conway (Ticha) of Sebring, FL. He leaves his maternal grandfather Norman Moss (Peggy) of Bedrock, CO, paternal grandparents Kenneth Sr. and Dolores Mallette of Watertown, NY, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, his intended fiancé Katrina Nicole Flynn of Bedrock, CO, and three half-siblings, Jordan, Alexis, and Paxdynn of Watertown, NY. He also leaves behind his best friend, Gracie, the chocolate lab. Michael was preceded in death by his loving maternal grandmother Joan Dozier of Watertown, NY, of whom he thought the world.
