Martha Lillian Vogel

Martha Lillian Vogel passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida at the age of 71. The daughter of Henry Arthur and Susan Virginia (Purcell) Held. She was born on July 11, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois. Martha worked in administration in the healthcare industry and was of Catholic faith. Martha enjoyed singing in the church choir, she was very active with the youth group in church,  and she was always there to lend a helping hand. She was a member of the American Business Woman’s Association. Martha is survived by her sisters – Susan Wadsworth (Norb) of Bullhead City, AZ; Margaret Neilsen of Flippin, AR; Penny Kruse of Norway, MI; Phyllis Losonczy of Pinellas Park, FL; sister-in-law – Patricia Baker of Sebring, FL. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother – Henry Held Jr. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Jose officiating. Inurnment will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery.
