Laura Zbyzenski Rushing

Laura Zbyzenski Rushing, age 96, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024.  She was born May 5, 1928 in New York, New York to Fred and Maude (Lydon) Reyes.  She worked as a cocktail waitress, attended Grace Bible Church, and has been a resident of Sebring, FL since 1979, coming from New York, New York.  Laura is survived by her Brother – Freddie Reyes; Grandchildren – Laura Watts (George); Gregory Fries; Great Grandchildren – Theodore (Carolyn); Wesley, Rebekah (Jeremy), Rachel, Jacob; Great Great Grandchildren – Kai; Cyrus; Son-in-law – Bill Borgemeister.  She is preceded in death by her Parents; 1st Husband – Theodore Zbyzenski; 2nd Husband – Jimmy Rushing; and Daughter – Geraldine Borgemeister.  Funeral services will be Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM with family receiving friends beginning at 1:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with burial following at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
