Anita L. Cheney

A nita L. Cheney, 98 of Sebring, FL, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2023. Anita was born on February 8, 1925 in Littleton, NH, the daughter of Arthur and Julia (Bedard) Longchamps. Anita is survived by her husband of “79” years Walter Cheney. Five daughters, Gloria Vaillant, Barbara and Jim Jordan, Priscilla and David Chase of Sebring, FL; Kathy and Jesse Bushaw of Warren, NH; Beverly and Pete Smith of Avon Park, FL. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great-great granddaughters. Walter and Anita owned and operated Circle Tri Cleaners in Plymouth, NH. After retiring, Walter and Anita enjoyed many trips in the RV traveling across the United States. They resided in Avon Park for over 30 years. Anita was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a wonderful seamstress making quilts and outfits to wear. She loved dancing and playing cards with the family. She was very family oriented.
