Kelly Meier, who was born September 6, 1922, passed away Wednesday evening, June 12, 2013 at 10:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Hospice Somers House in Sebring. Kelly was a World War II veteran, serving as a U.S. Navy Wave. She was a member of the VFW and Elks Club and a charter member of Heartland Christian Church. She is survived by one niece in Illinois and her long time caregiver and friend, Ruth Cornwell. Memorial Services will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
