Wyvolin Elliott Simpson

92 passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Hosford, Florida on February 23, 1922. Mrs. Simpson was a homemaker who loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She excelled at making hand crafts and members of her family have been the recipient of her labor of love. Some of her talents included sewing, crocheting, needlepoint, cross-stitch, macramé, and creating wall hangings. Mrs. Simpson was Baptist by faith and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1964 coming from Haines City, Florida. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law-David and Wanda Simpson of Avon Park, Florida and John and Vaunda Simpson of Port Charlotte, Florida; daughter-Sandra Kelly of Winter Haven, Florida; grandchildren-Lamonte Simpson (Dawn) of Sebring, Florida, Lamar Simpson of Avon Park, Florida, Davy Simpson of Avon Park, Florida, Steve Ross (Sharon) of Lakeland, Florida, Jamie Ross (Kim) of Auburndale, Florida, Greg Ross (Trish) of Winter Haven, Florida, Monica Young (Duane) of Avon Park, Florida, Kacie Mansfield (Jerry) of Richburg, South Carolina, Ricky Rodriquez (Trina) of Little Torch Key, Florida, Joey Rodriguez (Amber) of Fort Mill, South Carolina and Will Simpson of Clearwater, Florida; also 21 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and special friends Hector and Ladonna Rodriguez. Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her husband-Doris "Pete" V. Simpson; son-William Jefferson "Jeff" Simpson a sister-Ivory Elliott Diffenderfer and brothers-T.W. Elliott and E.H. Elliott. Memorial service will be Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor John Girdley officiating.
