William Harry West

William Harry "Bill" West, age 89, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 24th, 2026 at the Bud and Donna Somers Hospice House. He was born on December 21, 1936, to the late John and Marie Hannum West.

He was formerly of Cambridge, Ohio, shortly after retirement from Champion Spark Plug, Bill and his wife, Rosemary, moved to Florida to enjoy their retirement years golfing and traveling.

In addition to his wife, Rosemary West, he leaves behind his two sons; William Timothy 'Tim' West (Sharon) of Cambridge, Jeffrey Scott West (Lori) of Byesville, Ohio, step-daughter; Vicki Marlatt, of Avon Park, FL, grandchildren; Nicole West McCormick (Andy), Kari West McIntire (Don Logneaux) Dr. Ian West (Audra), great grandchildren; Kamryn, Konner, Griffin, and Tripp McIntyre, Chase and Tanner McCormick, Olin West, Landon Baldwin, great great grandchildren Kruz Todd and Kyre Barnett, and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. His only sibling, brother; Larry West(Sandy) and their children Misty and Troy.

In accordance with Bill's wishes, no services will be observed.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the Good Shepherd Hospice Team for all the compassion and care given to Bill the last few weeks, with special thanks extended to nurse Jennifer and caregiver Kamile.
