William L. Todd

WILLIAM L. BILL TODD William L. Bill Todd, 86, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, in Sebring. He was born April 6, 1924, to John and Magdalene (Ross) Todd in Detroit, Michigan, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2006, coming from Carlsbad, CA. He was missionary with SIM, joining in 1952 and working as a printer with SIM in Nigeria in Jos and Lagos, retiring from SIM in 1972 and from printing in 1994. He was a member of Sparta Road Baptist Church in Sebring. Mr. Todd is survived by his wife, Marjorie Theodora Todd of Sebring; son, Ralph (Norma) Todd, Longview, TX; daughters, Edith (John) Hoving, San Jose, CA and Margaret (Richard) Ackley, Garland, TX; sister, Jean Ring of Scotland; brothers, John Todd of England and David Todd of Canada; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Neil Todd. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2011, at the SIM Fellowship Hall in Sebring. Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 and a memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the SIM Chapel, with Rev. Richard Ackley officiating.
