WILLIAM ANDREW STARKEY William Andrew Starkey, 81, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011, in Sebring. He was born April 3, 1930, to William Arnold and Gertrude (Scroggs) Starkey in Sedan, New Mexico, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2001, coming from Titusville, Florida. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, serving in both Korea and Vietnam. He was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Lake Placid VFW and Lake Placid American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Starkey and son, Todd Starkey, both of Sebring; sister, Barbara Ann Henry of Dumas, Texas and grandchildren Rebekka and Andrew. Graveside services will take place at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Avenue in Biloxi, Mississippi at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2011. Memorial donations may be made to the American Alzheimers Association in his memory.
