WILLIAM "BILL" RENTEL William "Bill" Rentel, 76, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in Sebring. He was born July 9, 1936, to Ernest F. and Anna D. (Horner) Rentel in Queens, New York, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1998, coming from Hermann, MO. He was the owner, operator and sales representative of a toy manufacturer and a member of the "Toy Knights of America". He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War; was a 50 year Mason and member of the Lions Club; Spring Lake Men's Association and Spring Lake Independent District Association. He was a member of Grace Bible Church and volunteered at Highlands Regional Medical Center; HALLO and Fred Wild Elementary School. His favorite place was home with his wife, children and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marsenna Lovell Rentel of Sebring; children, William Ralph (Jackie) Rental, Jr. of Tennessee; Cynthia Ann (Grant) Middlestead of Pennsylvania; Janet Suzanne (Anthony) Lavin of California and Stacy Frederick Rentel of California; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Ernest Rental. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Grace Bible Church, Sebring, with Pastor Dustin Woods officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Fred Wild Elementary School in memory of Mr. Bill Rentel, 3550 Youth Care Lane, Sebring, Florida 33870.
