William “Bill” Frank Murn, 83, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. He was born on April 8, 1943, in Washington, Pennsylvania, to Joseph and Stella (Demshar) Murn. Following his graduation from Trinity High School in 1961, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He dedicated many years of his professional life with Verizon serving as a Director. He was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to his career. Outside of work, Bill had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He loved boating and especially cherished his time living along the Kanawha River. He enjoyed hunting with his brother Joe, his nephew Joey, and many friends, as well as target shooting and spending time in nature. He also had a passion for snowmobiling. Bill was an avid football fan and took great pleasure in watching games. One of his favorite pastimes was riding motorcycles, especially alongside his beloved wife, Deborah. Bill will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who deeply cherished time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Murn; his daughter, Rebecca M. Lambert (Brad) of Fairmont, West Virginia; his stepdaughters, Tina Baldwin of Cross Lanes, West Virginia, and Trina Clark of Ripley, West Virginia; his brother, Joseph Murn (Carolyn) of McDonald, Pennsylvania; and his two grandchildren, Jenna and Justin Lambert. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Michael Murn.
