He never forgot his roots in farming and the saying from FFA Here by the Owl, stayed with him. His Beanpicker friends from Pompano High School and those of later life will always remember his love of friends, music and song. He will be greatly missed by all as he loved to talk with family and friends as much as he loved to sing. Williams friends were many among them Rev. J. W. McCall who was his childhood friend. He and his wife Mary Alice gave him much love and comfort as did his very dear friends from later life Betty & Bob Straker. Also very special Jody Zega who helped them make their move to Avon Park.
