**William Joseph "Bill" Minder**
*March 12, 1952 – October 1, 2026*
William Joseph Minder, known to many as "Wild Bill," passed away on October 1, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. He was 74 years old.
Bill was born on March 12, 1952, in Albany, New York, but spent most of his life in Florida and Georgia. A graduate of Hialeah High School who served in the United States Navy, he raised a family and worked for several years at Publix Supermarket. He later managed the Altamaha Park and Country Store in Glynn County, Georgia, where he was known as "Wild Bill." An avid fisherman and outdoorsman, Bill treasured his years at Altamaha Park, a time filled with great memories, including busy Fourth of July holidays full of friends and fireworks.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Minder, and his mother, Marcia Minder.
Bill is survived by his brother, Gary (Karen) Minder of Fernandina Beach, FL; his sister, Jane (Ginger) Minder-Moore of Lexington, KY; his son, Chad (Michelle) Minder of Palm Coast, FL; his daughter, Theresa (Terry) Hicks of Green Cove Springs, FL; and his daughter, Kristin (Nathan) Stuard of Nashville, TN. He also leaves behind his granddaughters, Kaitlyn Minder, Grace Hicks, Faith Hicks, and Audrey Stuard, along with many extended family members and friends.
There will be no services. At a future date, Bill's children will lay him to rest beside his parents in Lake Luzerne, New York.
