William J Mcgovern

William J. McGovern, age 95, passed away on February 11, 2014, in Sebring, FL. He was born on July 15, 1918, to the late Edward and Gertrude McGovern in New York, NY. He enjoyed playing cards and watching old movies. He also enjoyed raising orchids, tropical fish and canaries. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. He is survived by two sons, William J. McGovern, Jr. (Nancy), Waco, TX; Mike McGovern (Kathy), Oviedo, FL; one daughter, Jan Evans (Mark), Sebring, FL; one brother, Raymond McGovern, Lake Placid, FL; one granddaughter, Kelly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae McGovern; two sisters; one brother. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Hospice of your choice.
