W. Ronald LaRocque, 79, passed away peacefully at his home in Sebring, FL on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jane (Carpenter) LaRocque; his daughters, Michele and Linette; son-in-law, John; grandson, Jack; sister Carole and much loved dog, Chelsea. He is preceded in death by his brother Richard. Born and raised in Plymouth, MA, the son of William and Charlotte (Raymond) LaRocque, he was a long time resident of Duxbury, MA before retiring to Florida.  Ronnie served in the U.S Army from 1956 to 1957.  He co-owned the family business, Leyden Press in Plymouth, MA with his brother Richard.  He was an avid golfer and belonged to the Plymouth Country Club and North Hill Country Club. He was actively involved with his children during their years of competitive skiing and equestrian show jumping.  Ronnie was a member of the American Legion, the Elks Club, the Old Colony Memorial Club, and the Eagles.  He truly relished the many friends and memories he made over his active life.  His sense of humor and generosity will always be remembered and he will be dearly missed.  We will carry you forever in our hearts.  A private service and burial will be held in Massachusetts at the families’ convenience.
