WILLIAM ROBERT JETER William Bill Robert (Purvis) Jeter passed away March 22, 2010, at his home after a four year battle with lung cancer. Bill was a lifelong resident of Sebring. He was a welder and machinist for 40 plus years. Bill is survived by his Wife, Doreen; his Sister and Brother-in-Law, Sylvia and Jim Ridley; his Daughter, Sheila Gilley and her significant other, Ben Elver and her Mother, Anne Fayles; his Granddaughter, Jennifer and Great-Grandson, Wyatt. He also leaves his Stepchildren, Jimmy Sottile and family; Debra Paszek and family; Lynn and Randy Howerton, Carl and Boni Clinger, Master Gunnery Sergeant Daniel and Darlene Clinger, Lisa Stutz, and Ronald and Lynn Clinger and 30 Step-Grandchildren and 23 Step-Great-Grandchildren; his Aunt, Doris Bradley and Carrie Bobbie Smith. He was preceded in death by his Son, William Robert Buddy Jeter, Jr., and Stepson, Nicky Sottile and third Wife, Ruth Sottile Jeter. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2010, at Stephenson-Nelson, with Rev. David Richardson officiating. Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery, Sebring, will be immediately following the service.
