William H. Goodhue, 72, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, at his home. He was born June 27, 1940, to William and Nellie (Coomer) Goodhue in Glasgow, Kentucky, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1970, coming from Indianapolis, Indiana. He was employed as a Truck Driver for St. Regis Paper Company for 42 years and was of the Methodist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and liked to play horseshoes, football, and softball and loved the Miami Dolphins and Elvis Presley. He is survived by his wife, Lyndell Goodhue of Sebring; children, Karen Goodhue (James Dowling), Winter Haven; Becky Linehan (Joseph), Vero Beach and Michael Goodhue (Tonya), Sebring; brothers, Tony Goodhue and Lyndon Barton, both of Indiana; sisters, Jean Webber, Indiana; Elizabeth Hamm, Texas and Vera Cooper, Indiana; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Goodhue and Jackie Goodhue. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Stephenson-Nelson Chapel, Sebring, with Pastor Jim Baker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until service time.
