William Lee Dyer

William Lee Dyer, age 77 passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Grayling, Michigan to Edgar J. and Olive G. (Brown) Dyer. He was a Professor, retired from the United States Military having served 10 years in the United States Air Force and 10 years in the United States Navy, he also served in the Korean War, he was of the Protestant faith, he enjoyed spending time with his family and had been a resident of Highlands county since 1997 coming from South Amboy, New Jersey. He is survived by his daughters-Cathy Midgley (Patrick), Jane Dyer, Janet Tashji (George) and Wendy Dyer; son-Russ Dyer (Dorene); 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Claire Louise Dyer. At the familys request services will be private.
