William Ralph Day

William Ralph Day, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on August 18, 1929 in Harrisburg, Illinois to the late William H. and Nell M. (Roberts) Day. William spent his career in the banking industry and retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis, MO. He moved to Avon Park in 1992 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Avon Park. He was president of the Avon Park Shuffleboard Club and enjoyed gardening, puzzles and board games. He loved his family dearly and spending time with them was the joy of his life. Survivors include his children: Denise Foerg (Mick), Cindy Schuette (Alan), Cliff Lewis (Joan); one sister: Donna Ward; three grandchildren: Carrie, Kyle and Brandon and five great-grandchildren.
