William Michael Baker, 65, of Spring Lake, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 after a lengthy battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Mr. Baker was born on August 28, 1951 in Miami, FL to parents William and Melba Baker. Mr. Baker was an accomplished tradesman. He was a Navy veteran and while serving aboard the destroyer USS Charles F. Adams, he was exposed to asbestos, which subsequently led to his death. Mr. Baker's hobby was cooking, but his true goal in life was to make people laugh. Even during his darkest times he maintained a sense of humor. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his father, William H. Baker. He is survived by his wife, Christine Baker.
