Willa Diane Hawkins

Willa Diane Hawkins, age 82, of Avon Park, Florida passed away Friday, July 3, 2026. She was born July 3, 1944 in Ft. Myers, Florida to Lawrence Earl Penny and Geraldine Frances Johnson. Diane worked as a Floral Manager at the Publix Florist, grew up in First Baptist Church of Avon Park, and most recently attended Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Avon Park, Florida. Survivors include her Children – Alan Hawkins (Barbara) of Apopka, FL; Steve Hawkins (Aimee) of Avon Park, FL; Kathy George (Dan) of Avon Park, FL; Sister – Melanie Wright Smith (Ricky) of Avon Park, FL; her name sake Niece – Melissa Diane Sager (Brent) of Avon Park, FL, as well as other Nieces and Nephews; numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Husband – Albert Hawkins; Son – Ben Casey; Sisters – Clara Grice and Dee Dee Stevens. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park.
