Wesley "Ken" Mason

Wesley "Ken" Mason Wesley "Ken" Mason, age 77, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on July 29, 2014 in Avon Park, FL. He was born in Etowah, Arkansas on November 17, 1936 to Madison Wesley and Ruby Roberta (McElfresh) Mason. He was a General Supervisor for General Motors Corporation for 31 years; served in the US Marines during Peace time; was a member of the American Legion Post 69, Masonic Lodge #276 in Columbus, Ohio; he enjoyed NASCAR and going to Wyoming and Colorado hunting; he was an excellent handyman and loved spending time with his family. Ken and Ann managed a Mobile Home Park in Avon Park for 20 years. He was a resident of Avon Park since 1992 coming from Salem, Ohio. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth "Ann" Mason of Avon Park; 2 sons, Mark Mason of Arkansas and Harvey Radcliff of Ohio; 2 daughters, Rebecca Blackstone (Randy) of Ohio and Eugenia Sturgeon (Dana) of Ohio; 2 brothers, Charles Mason of Arkansas and Jack Mason of Tennessee; 2 sisters, Viola Nelson of Arkansas and Betty Thompson of Arkansas; granddaughter Lauren Mason as well as six other grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial services will beheld on Friday, August 1, 2014, at 4:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with W. Mike Adams officiating.
