WAYNE RED SHAW Wayne Red Shaw, 87, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in Orlando. He was born September 23, 1923, to Cloyd A. and Prudence (Keaser) Shaw in Wauseon, Ohio, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1985, coming from Wauseon. He was the owner and operator of a retail clothing store and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army. He was a Mason, Shriner, Elk and member of VFW Post 4300 and the American Legion and was an avid golfer and member of the Sebring Municipal Golf Club. He and his wife enjoyed spending summers in Round Lake, Manitou Beach, Michigan and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Geneva Shaw of Sebring; daughter, Vicki Glaze, Sylvania, Ohio; sons, Doug (Cheryl) Shaw, Wauseon, Ohio and Denny (Susan) Shaw, Forest City, Iowa; sisters, Dottie Hartsell, Fort Myers, FL and Jean LeGall, Bradenton, FL; brother, Max Shaw, Ohio; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2011 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, Sebring, with Kevin Cleghorn and Robert Bowers officiating.
