Wayne Morris Henderson

Wayne Morris Henderson, age 71, of Wauchula, FL passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at his home.  He was born July 7, 1944 in Wauchula, FL to Homer Eve and Delia (Wilson) Henderson.  He was a citrus caretaker, member of the New Hope Baptist Church, served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and has been a lifelong resident of Wauchula, FL.  He is survived by his Daughters-Kim Barber (Allen) of Wauchula, FL and Karen Edsall (Tim) of Sebring, FL; mother-in-law Edith Harford of Sebring, FL; sister Dottie Kilgore (Ron) of Clearwater, FL; brother Eddie Lee Henderson (Sherry) of Lake Placid, FL; grandchildren Jara Ann Corson (Cole); Kayle Pella; Josh Weed (Cassandra); Tyler Pella; Alyssa Barber; Klae Barber; Jacey Pella and five great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 11:00 am with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am at the New Hope Baptist Church in Wauchula, FL.  Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Hardee Athletic Foundation, PO Box 1743, Wauchula, FL  33873 or Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL  33870.
