Wanda Cook Sharkey died Sunday November 21 , 2021 after having lived a long and glorious life. Wanda was 102 years young. She was born at Norwich Hospital April 8, 1919 and grew up in Taylor NY with her parents Earl Irving Cross and Edna Barber Cross. Wanda was predeceased by her brother Norman Cross (Alpha), her first husband Cleland Connor Cook, her second husband William Sharkey and the third love of her life; Dean T Wadsworth. Michael J Condie; a beloved son in law predeceased also predated her. Wanda is survived by her daughter Vicki Cook Condie MacTavish (John) and her son Charles Caleb Cook. Stepchildren; Dean Wadsworth Jr. (Diana); Linda Wadsworth Graves (Brent) and Annie Wadsworth Butwin (John). Her grandchildren Jennifer Condie Read (Bob); Jamie Michael Condie (Marika) and Stephen Joseph Condie (Sara); Joshua Slocum; Jesse Cook Seeley(LIeweIlyn); and Charles Curtis Cook (Beth). Also surviving her are her two step grandchildren Dan Wadsworth and Mary Butwin. Five great grandchildren who knew their great grandmother very well; Ella Lynne Read; John Michael Read; Kevin Michael Condie and Nathan Joseph Condie: & Jameson Llewellyn Seely. Wanda resided in Cortland, Tully, Frostproof and finally at Fairway Pines in Sebring Florida. Services will take place Memorial Day Weekend; May 2022 with a celebration of a life well lived and interment in the Taylor NY Cemetery. In lieu of flowers or cards do something nice for someone else and think of her.
