Wanda Jean Roberts

Wanda Jean Roberts, age 90, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on May 22, 1924 in Newton Falls, Ohio to the late Edward Nicholas and Laura Ellen (Adams) Selkirk. Wanda had been a resident of Sebring since 2005 coming from Sarasota, Florida. She was a long time resident of Sarasota, since 1940, coming from Newton Falls. She and her husband, Woodrow, lived a wonderful and eventful life raising two daughters. They worked together at the Sarasota Kennel Club for several years, Wanda then went on to work as an administrative assistant for a local Sarasota school where she met life long friends. She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and especially spending time with her family. She is survived by her two daughters: Cheryl Shuster-Sarasota, FL and Darleen Woodman-Sebring, FL; three grandchildren: Tiffany, Heather and Shelly and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Woodrow W. Roberts, one granddaughter: Dawn Woodman and both sons-in-law (N.K. Shuster and Bruce Woodman).
