WALTER J. WALLY GRABOW, JR. Walter J. Wally Grabow, Jr., 88, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011, in Sebring. He was born July 10, 1922, to Walter J. and Mable (Maley) Grabow in Chicago, Illinois and had been a resident of Sebring since 1982, coming from Chicago. He was the owner and operator of a restaurant and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, where he was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and American Legion in Lake Placid and loved to dance, play golf and fish. He had worked at Golf Hammock Golf Course and Spring Lake Golf Course and attended Bible Fellowship Church. He is survived by his daughters, Bonnie Lee Osborn, Nixa, MO; Suzette Lackey, Gilbert, AZ and Roselind D. Templin, Round Lake, IL; son, Gary Milton Grabow, Bessemer, MI; brother, Roger Grabow, Huntley, IL; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
