Walter Charles Buchholz

Walter Charles Buchholz, age 94, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024.  He was born November 25, 1929 in Kearney, NJ to Walter Frank and Lola Edith (Marler) Buchholz.  Walter worked as a Corrosion Control Supervisor with U.S. Air Force, served in the U.S. Army, member of Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church, and has been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1993, coming from Ohio.  He is survived by his Wife – JoAnn Buchholz of Avon Park, FL; Daughters – Debbie Green (Billy) of Palm Harbor, FL; Terri Lefever (Mel) of South Carolina; Vicky Gilly of Big Stone Gap, VA; Step-Daughter – Merlyn Perkins of North Carolina; Sons – Charles Crutchfield (Michelle) of Wauchula, FL; Keith Kirkland (Raul) of Colorado; 10 Grandchildren; and 11 Great Grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 AM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
