Vivian Pearl Whitehead, age 76, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. Born in Iroquois, West Virginia, she had been a resident of Sebring since 2011 coming from Elverson, PA. She was a member of Wyebrook Missionary Baptist Church. Pearl enjoyed reading, traveling, spending time with family, shopping, singing in church, and sewing quilts. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Gene Whitehead of Sebring, children: Debra Smith of Sebring and Susan Avery (Michael) of New Holland, PA, grandchildren: Angela Lawruk; Bridget Smith; Juan Santiago and Jonathan Santiago, great-grandchildren: Preston DeCento; Michael Lawruk and Joseph Masone III, sisters: Carol Brown and Doneva Frost, brothers: Paul Perry; James Perry; Everett Perry; Roy Perry and Billy Perry. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents: Quincy and Susan (Taylor) Perry, sisters: Lettie Hodge; Frances Perdue; Patricia Rose; Rosie Jelik and Ceanne Perry, brothers: Frank Perry; George Perry; Coy Perry and John Perry. There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, 2:00pm, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm.
