Vivian F Thompson

Vivian F. Thompson, age 90, passed away on Thursday April 16, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on May 26, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York. Vivian moved to Sebring in the 1980's from Miami, FL. She was a very active member of St. Catherine Catholic Church where she served as president of the Rosary Makers Club. She was also very involved with the Caladium Arts and Crafts Co-op. Vivian is survived by her sister: Connie Sweeny; her niece: Simone Zappa; and her two nephews: John Clancy and Fred Schade. She was preceded in death by her husband: Tommy Thompson. Visitation with the family will be at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Sebring on April 22, 2015 beginning at 9:00am. A funeral mass will be held at St. Catherine Catholic Church beginning at 10:30am with Father Jose Gonzalez officiating. Entombment will immediately follow mass at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
