Virginia Henderson

Virginia Henderson, age 90, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on April 15, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Benjamin C. and Bernice E. (Leonard) Love. Virginia had been a resident of Sebring since 1996 coming from Virginia. She was a member of Heartland Christian Church. Virginia loved music, dancing, crafts and bingo. She worked as an executive secretary at Royster, Inc. in Detroit, Michigan. She loved her family and will be missed. She is survived by her daughter: Sherrie Green (Don Abbey)-Avon Park, FL, sons: James M. Green (Marylon)-Memphis, TN; David L. Green (Claudette)-Eason, PA; Douglas N. Green (Elaine) Southgate-MI, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Donald Love and Elizabeth Hofrichter. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, 2:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Sebring with W. Mike Adams officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm.
