Vera Mcgahan

Vera McGahan, age 80, passed away on Monday November 14, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on February 7, 1936 in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Mabel (Lusk) Currie. Vera moved to the area in 1995 from Poland, Ohio and attended St. Jones United Methodist Church. She enjoyed golfing; cooking, decorating and playing cards with friends. She was a member of Sun N Lake Golf Club. Vera was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Robert McGahan, one brother and seven sisters. Survivors include her children: Valarie (Jim) Dodge-Poland, OH; Glenn (Karen) McGahan-Akron, OH; David (Karen) McGahan-Stewart, FL, siblings: Ralph Currie, Lee Currie, Leona (Millard) Collins; Dora (Lindy) Wigton, Mary Lou Welker, eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
