Vera F. Beasley, age 93, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Sun City Center, Florida. She was born on June 9, 1924 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Gaylen and Iona (McVay) Balkcom. Vera is survived by her children Faye Fago (David)-Apollo Beach, FL; Sharon Beasley-Bernhardt-St. Petersburg, FL; two Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband-William H. Beasley; daughter-Theresa Yvonne Beasley and son-William “Buster” Beasley. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, Florida from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. Graveside services will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, Florida beginning at 2:00pm.
