Velma Steinmeyer Lee

Velma Steinmeyer Lee, 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 05, 2021 in Sebring, Florida. Velma was a house wife and store clerk for many years at Eaton’s Department Store alongside her husband Bob Lee. She was loving and kind and always tried to help others.

Velma was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Velma Steinmeyer, two brothers, Harry and Leon and one sister, Bertie Mae Eichelberger.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Danny) Timlake, Susan (Rickey) Dick, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren.

The family sends a special thankyou to the staff at Fellowship Home at the Fairway and to the staff of Good Shepherd Hospice who both provided loving and compassionate care.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January12 at 10:00 a.m at the First United Methodist Church in Avon Park, Florida with  the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. A family burial service will follow.
