Velma “Judy” Howell, 90 of Sebring, FL passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Lake Placid, FL. She was born on June 21, 1928 in Washington, PA to the late James D. and Ada J. (Kelley) Martin.  Velma leaves behind her son; Jerry Geisler of Sebring, daughter; Cynthia Barch (Douglas) of Bloomington, IL and a step-daughter; Shelly McKenzie (Bill) of Bradenton and step-son; Gary Howell.  She also leaves behind a sister; Patricia Kreller and two brothers; Richard and Thomas Martin.  She leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by 1 ^st Husband; Jerry R. Geisler, 2 ^nd Husband; Paul Howell, two daughters; Linda Lee Skrentny and Virginia Lee Ogilbee, one brother; James D. Martin and one grandson; Douglas Ogilbee. Velma was a member of the St. John United Methodist Church and moved to the area in 1981 from Newark, Ohio.  She was a skilled seamstress and especially loved her family.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
