Velma Lucille Brannon

Velma Lucille Brannon, age 92, of Sebring, Florida passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  She was born June 18, 1925 in Ousley, Georgia to Wiley Franklin and Annie (Folsom) Lewis.  Velma grew up in Valdosta, Georgia. Velma has been a resident of Sebring, Florida since 1980, coming from Ft. Myers, Florida.  She started her Nursing career in 1984 in Highlands County.  She retired at age of 84.  She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.  She is survived by her Son – Anthony Brannon (Lucretia); Daughter – Marsha Brannon; Brother – David Lewis; Grandchildren – Holly Durhan (Mitch); Aydin Brannon; Matthew Brannon (Kaisha); Emily Dowd (Justin); Great Grandchildren – Kaitlyn Clemons (Clint); Andrew; Joe; Catalina; Lucy; Edy; Ryne; Ethan; Jett; Sawyer; Great Great Grandchildren – Annslie and Britten.  She is preceded in death by her Husband – William Wallace Brannon and Brothers – Robert; Edgar; Donald; and Wiley, Jr.  Memorial contributions may be made to Nu Hope Elder Care Services, Inc., 6414 US Hwy 27, Sebring, FL  33876.
