Vaden Nealy

Vaden Henry Nealy passed away on July 8, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. He was born on February 26, 1963, in Wauchula, Florida, to the late Archie and Patricia (Pearson) Nealy. Vaden spent most of his life in Highlands County, where he worked as a mechanic for Glades & Grove Company. He was a devoted fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Florida State Seminoles. Vaden had a special love for animals, especially dogs. Above all else, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren, who were truly his world. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Agnes Nealy; his children, Vaden Henry Nealy II (Valerie), Tricia Morris (Joshua), and Eryk Nealy; Dixie and Peggy Scott, who were like parents to him; his special cousins, Howell Scott and Angela Girdley; six grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Vaden is preceded in death by his parents; son Archie Nealy II and Daughter Amber Bullock. A memorial service to celebrate Vaden's life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Florida Avenue Baptist Church in Avon Park, Florida. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
