Tireno Joseph Fusani

Tireno Joseph Fusani, age 88, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 in Avon Park, Florida. He was born in Buffalo, New York to Ettore and Rosetta Ida (Cappigla) Fusani. Mr. Fusani was a Retired Senior Chief Petty Officer from the United States Navy having served for 30 years, he served in World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam, he was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church; he enjoyed golfing, fishing, tennis, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends, he enjoyed volunteering and he was the past President of Casa Del Lago Home Owners Association. He is survived by his wife of 38 years-Judy Fusani of Avon Park, Florida; children-Iris Templeton, Gary Fusani (Cecilia) and Roxanne Fusani all of Jacksonville, Florida, Bobby Glover of Tacoma, Washington, Jimmy Brimlow (Leigh Anne) of Frostproof, Florida and Rodney Brimlow (Mimi) of West Palm Beach, Florida; sister-Laura Pirlo of Rancho Cucamonga, California; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-Roseanne Fusani. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Nick McLoughlin officiating.
