Thornton W. Trevelyan

Thornton W. Trevelyan, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on March 11, 1930 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to the late Ray Alfred and Dorothy (Tower) Trevelyan.  Being a resident of Sebring since 1946, Thornton was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Sebring Historical Society.  He spent his career as a field supervisor for Sebring Packing Company.  Survivors include his wife: Jacquelyn Trevelyan; children: Allyson (Ray) Rotruff, Dawn (Tommy) Robinson, all of Sebring; siblings: Allan Trevelyan-Avon Park, FL, Eric Trevelyan-Tifton, GA, Gay White-Interlochen, FL; grandchildren: Sunni Robinson (George) Davis, Craig Robinson, Justin Robinson, Michael (Terri) Lee, Charles (April) Bailey, Jeffrey Ruttenbur, Payne Vannice; great-grandchildren: Sarah Davis, Sam Davis, Reese Robinson and Austin Bailey. There will be a memorial service on Monday, January 9, 2017, 5:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Reverend David Juliano officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m.
