Thomas Gene Hawn

Thomas Gene Hawn, age 69, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017. He was born October 23, 1947 in Harriman, TN to Coy and Lorene (Nelson) Hawn. Tom worked as a truck driver for Ridge Fuel, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and has been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1970, coming from Winter Haven, FL. He is survived by his Wife - Peggy Hawn of Avon Park, FL; Daughters - Tammy Bachman (Chad) of Avon Park, FL; Tonya Taylor (Mike) of Frostproof, FL; 2 Grandchildren - Kinsey and Mikey. He is preceded in death by his Parents and three Brothers. Memorial services will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 4:00 PM with family receiving friends beginning at 3:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park.
