THOMAS "BIG TOM" REX HARE Thomas "Big Tom" Rex Hare, age 82, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 10, 1931 in Jamestown, NY to Rex and Gladys (VanDusen) Hare. He was the Owner/Operator of a Bar & Restaurant, member of the VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodge, and has been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1979, coming from Attica, NY. He is survived by his Daughters - Nancy L. Rautenstrauch of Palm Bay, FL; Suzanne Hatchett of Avon Park, FL; Sons - Thomas Hare (Laura) of Sebring, FL; Timothy R. Hare of Avon Park, FL; 7 Grandchildren; and 5 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Wife - Catherine "Katie" Hare. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014, 11:00am, at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park.
