Thomas Andrew Finnerty

Thomas Andrew Finnerty, age 82, of Avon Park, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. He was born August 23, 1941, in Cleveland Ohio to his parents George G. and Martha A. Finnerty (Holloran). Tom graduated from Graham High School in 1959. He became a textile foreman for Terre Haute Federal Prison. He was also named Kiwanis member of the year in 1975. Tom enjoyed living in Florida for 34 years and riding motorcycles, golf, bowling and going to the YMCA. He was a member of the Catholic faith and was an Alter Boy in his younger years. He had a quirky sense of humor and a smile to the end. He is survived by his Wife-Judy Stout Finnerty; Sons- Chuck (Anna) Matt (Darlene), Jeff (Kim); Daughter- Pam Martin (Ken); Sisters- Eileen Jones, Joan (Don) Detwiler; Donna (Mike) Taylor; Sister-in-Law-Barbara Rowe; Brother-in-Law-Phillip Stout (Sue); 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren, and Dan and Karen Markle (close friends). He is pre-deceased by his Parents-George and Martha Holloran Finnerty; In Laws -Ken and Irene Stout; Sister- Marna Finnerty; Brother-in-Laws- Lew Jones and Ron Rowe. In lieu of flowers, it is the family’s wishes that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s foundation.
