He embraced an active lifestyle! His parents’ love for camping and hunting in the Everglades, and Fish-Eating Creek, fostered a strong connection to the outdoors. He was an exceptional marksman, hunting in Florida, Alaska and Africa. Tom took up the sport of golf, and later, horseback riding. He piloted his own Cessna plane and maneuvered a 40-foot recreational vehicle across the country. Always faithful, and a believer in God, Tom was a devoted member of St Agnes Church in Sebring where he attended Sunday service regularly. His faith was a central and cherished part of his life.
