Thelma McKibben Hamilton Rachel

Thelma McKibben Hamilton Rachel, age 97, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026. She was born December 1, 1928 in the Belmont Community of Bracken County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Claude Wyatt and Beatrice Browning McKibben. Thelma was a graduate of Bracken County High School, retired from Verizon Telephone Company, member of Brooksville Christian Church, Brooksville, KY, and active member of the Avon Park Christian Church, Avon Park, FL. Thelma was preceded in death by her Parents; Brother – Charles Andrew McKibben; Husbands – Clarence Hamilton and Charles Rachel; and Son – Danny Dale Hamilton. She is survived by her Nephews – Leland McKibben (Debbie); Charles Lynn McKibben (Kathy); Niece – Rhonda Kurtz; Great Nephews – Craig McKibben; Casey Lynn McKibben; Chad Kurtz (Brianna); Drew and Taran Kurtz; Great Nieces – Leahbeth Griffin; M’Lynn McKibben; Maribeth Kurtz; Sister-in-law – Rosemary McKibben; and Cousin – Kenneth Hedges. Graveside services will be held in Powersville Cemetery, Powersville, Kentucky. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Avon Park Christian Church or the Brooksville Christian Church.
