Thelma Jean Decker

Thelma Jean Decker, age 78, of Fort Myers, FL passed away Friday, January 13, 2017.  She was born February 27, 1938 in Sebring, FL to the late George and Vera (Simpson) Collier.  She worked as a switch board operator for the Sprint Telephone Company, was a Lake Placid High School graduate in 1956, member of the Grace Baptist Church of Fort Myers, and has been a resident of Cape Coral FL since 1985, moving from Avon Park, FL.  She is survived by her Daughters – Theresa Haas (Mark) of Port Richey, FL; Diane Arocho (Frank) of Fort Myers, FL; Brothers – Willie Collier; Charlie Collier both of Okeechobee, FL; Grandchildren – Matthew Haas; Rebekah Haas: Joshua Haas; Cody Arocho; Dylan Arocho; Courtney Arocho; Taylor Arocho; 23 Great Grandchildren; many Nieces and Nephews.  Thelma was preceded in death by her Parents; Husbands – Harold Wittman; Thayer Decker; Daughter – Linda Decker; Sisters – Obelia Smith; Ruth Sottile-Jeter; and Brother – J.L. Collier.  Funeral services will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 at 12 Noon with a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM at the Christ Fellowship Church in Sebring, FL with Rev.
