Terry Lee Gettinger

Terry Lee Gettinger, age 66, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on August 16, 1948 in Greenville, Ohio to the late James Henry and Ida Lillian (Weymouth) Gettinger. Terry has been a resident of Avon Park since 1989 having come from Greenville, OH. He was of the Christian faith, loved his family, and especially his grandchildren. Terry was known as Papaw and Grandpa Terry. He worked for Sprint/Embarq Telephone Co. for 35 years before his retirement. Terry is survived by his wife: Rita Rich Gettinger of Avon Park, daughters: Kia Adducchio (Matt) of Ohio, Nikki Gettinger (John) of Washington, D.C., sons: Russell Kolling of New York, Scott Murphy of Avon Park, grandchildren: Nicholas, Daniel, Anthony, Jenna, Liam, Cecilia, and Isadora. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park.
