Terry Gene Connone

Terry Gene Connone, age 74, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born March 12, 1947 in Lorain, Ohio to the late Eugene and Helen Grace (Wortman) Connone. Terry was of the Baptist faith, and had been a resident since 2019 coming from Hollywood, FL. He was a high school graduate from Lorain High School, attended LLC College, and later in life achieved getting his broker license for securities and real estate, traveled to Europe, he loved to travel. He worked at the US Steel Plant and the Lorain Ford Plant, briefly in the 60’s. Also, for his mom and dad at Riverside Marine, Gene’s Marine Sales & Service of Lorain, OH. Terry moved to Hollywood FL in 1971, Terry became a master marine technician for Evinrude & Johnson outboards in the early seventies. He also was an OMC instructor at an OMC training facility in Miami Florida at which the company sent him all over the world to work on their products. He retired after 27 years from one of the largest formula boat dealers in the world selling formula, Boston whaler, four winn boats and managing their parts and sales departments at different times during his tenure there. Terry is survived by his Sisters – Joyce Connone (Ron) of Lake Placid, FL;  Jill Leslie O’Keefe (Kevin) of Oberlin, OH; Brother – Jack Lee Connone (Denise) of Oberlin, OH; Niece – Erin Leslie O’Keefe Presley (Josh); Nephew – Brandon Paul O’Keefe (Natalie), great nephews – Benjamin and Daniel O’Keefe, Nephew - Jared Paul O’Keefe; He was preceded in death by his parents.
