Teresa Ann Heiring

Teresa "Teri" Ann Heiring, age 66, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 in Avon Park, Florida. She was born on June 17, 1948 in Dyersville, Iowa to Harold and Ardell (Bockenstedt) Klostermann. Teri has been a resident of Avon Park since 1972 having come from Dyersville, Iowa, where she graduated from St. Francis Xavier School. She worked for the FBI for three years in Washington D. C. under J. Edgar Hoover, and then as a secretary for both Avon Elementary and Park Elementary for over 25 years. Teri was the founder and head of the Avon Park Swim Parents Association at the Avon Park High School, where she was responsible for the addition of the swimming pool complex at the high school. She is a member of the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Teri is survived by her husband: Jerry A. Heiring of Avon Park, mother: Ardell Klostermann of Avon Park, daughters: Karen Babcock (Andrew) of Jacksonville, FL, Brenda Randall (Eric) of Jacksonville, FL, son: Dale Heiring of Macon, GA, sisters: Phyllis Watson (Craig) of Overland Park, MO, Carol McKowen (Ray) of Springfield, MO, brothers: Bill Klostermann (Judy) of Avon Park, FL, Rick Klostermann (Mary), of Delhi, Iowa, and three grandchildren: Ashley, Emily, and Marshall. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park, FL. with Father Nick McLaughlin officiating.
