Tami Whitmire

Tami Whitmire, age 48, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Sebring, FL. She was born on April 13, 1968 in Lake Wales, FL to Burton Eugene and Sharon Lucinda (Holcombe) Bailey. Tami had been a resident of Avon Park since 1979, having come from Fayetteville, N.C. She worked as the Office Manager for the family business:  Whitmire Air Conditioning. Tami was a member of the Sanctuary Church of God. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and spending time with her family. Tami is survived by her husband: Spencer Whitmire of Avon Park, FL; daughters: Kara and Kristi Whitmire; mother: Sharon Steagall; brother: Robert Martin of Sebring, FL; sisters: Erin Conover and Cinda Lewis of Sebring, FL. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park. Burial will follow at Bougainvillea Cemetery.
