Sylvia Lee Ness

Sylvia Lee Ness, age 56 passed away Monday, May 27, 2013 in Myakka City, Florida. Mrs. Ness was born in Avon Park, Florida to Earnest and Irene (Trott) Prevatt. She was a Horticulturist, member of the Myakka City Methodist Church, she had been a resident of Myakka City since 1980 moving there from Avon Park, and she enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family. Mrs. Ness is survived by her husband of 29 years-Ned Ness of Myakka City, Florida; daughter-Christina Ness of Sebring, Florida; mother-Irene Prevatt-Cravens of Avon Park, Florida; 2 brothers and 1 sister; 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father-Earnest Eugene Prevatt. Visitation will be held Friday, May 31, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with funeral service to begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Bobby Trott officiating.
